However, not only is Fallout 76 online only, the developers are counting on the players to fill up the void caused by the lack of AI NPCs.
The Fallout 76 beta has been running a specific times.
Pete Hines answered "forever!"
Fallout 76 being a multiplayer online game doesn't mean that Bethesda is finished making single player games.
If we go back to my opening paragraph where I say that Fallout 76 is essentially a re-skin of Fallout 4, it shouldn't be too hard to work out why hackers have been able to find these vulnerabilities so quickly. "I seriously doubt it". One thing that players of either side of the ideological divide will share in Fallout 76's current beta however, is a hefty download to fix numerous bugs that were discovered in the game recently. Under the threat of nuclear annihilation, you'll experience the largest, most dynamic world ever created in the legendary Fallout universe.
"How long is [Fallout 76] going to be up?" . The game could become a huge financial disaster for Bethesda (very unlikely). "It also claims using Wireshark, an open source packet analyzer, would allow users to identify other players" IP addresses, locate them in-game, grief them, and even kick them out of the game. "Once we get to private servers or whatever happens in the years following; I don't know".
On the front, it seems as though Bethesda knows its unreasonable to suggest that they won't support Fallout 76 for years and years to come because they know what kind of massive commitment to the game they plan on providing. For example, they said players could conceivably highlight other players to make them easier to spot, grief others by tracking their location and HP, or simply force players offline.
With only a few beta sessions left until Fallout 76's full release on 14th November, Bethesda has a pretty tight window to make sure all of these problems are fixed.
