The Ball family has been in the headlines on a consistent basis over the previous year, and now we've got blockbuster news for the OH state high school basketball world.

That subsequently led to Melo and Gelo signing pro contracts in Lithuania with BC Vytautas Prienai. "I've been accepted to attend Spire Prep Academy in Geneva, Ohio where i look forward to earning my highschool diploma and winning with my new team!"

The thinking behind this decision is to show scouts just how good LaMelo is when placed among his own age group-especially with him being eligible for the 2020 NBA Draft. Ingram was reportedly someone who played with Lonzo Ball on the Lakers during the past few summers.

"I'm excited to return to school and rejoin my class on the court for my senior year", says LaMelo, according to SLAM. The move to Spire will give LaMelo an opportunity to play in a structured basketball environment against real competition.

Brantley shared how his understanding was LaMelo only looking to relive the high school experience. I learned and matured so much.

The brothers returned to the United States this past summer and played in the Junior Basketball Association, a league run by their father, LaVar. The youngest Ball brother is hoping to make his debut on November 13 against top prep school program La Lumiere in Indiana. "I can't wait to play with my peers". During his time in the JBA - which ended with a championship for the Los Angeles Ballers - LaMelo averaged 40.0 points, 13.8 rebounds, 11.0 assists and 3.6 steals per game.

As a sophomore at Chino Hills, Ball averaged almost 27 points and 10 assists per game and famously authored a 92-point performance.
