Pokemon: Let's Go will be the first game to hand out the coveted title of Pokemon master to trainers. You'll be able to easily tell them apart from other trainers on the overworld by their different clothing, and each will have a speech bubble above their heads indicating which Pokemon they use. While a Pokemon Master strives to catch 'em all, as the catchphrase reminds us, a Master Trainer is instead someone who has devoted themselves to a single Pokemon. Beating a trainer will give you its title, so you can be the Master Trainer of Rattata if you really want to be. Because these Master Trainer battles are true tests of you and your Pokemon's strength, neither you nor the Master Trainer will be able to use items during the match. The titles you've earned can even be displayed in-game during Link Battles so that your friends can admire your skills.
There's a twist, though, as Master Trainer battles have a unique ruleset.
Pokemon is one of the biggest franchises in the entertainment scene and it has contributed a lot in the gaming industry. The opponents are "dedicated" to training particular species of Pokemon.
In case you missed it, we did a thorough hands-on preview for the game, which you can find here.
