Rob Gronkowski not on Patriots’ flight to Chicago

Chicago Bears OLB Khalil Mack, CB Bryce Callahan, WR Allen Robinson questionable vs. Patriots

Pats' Gronkowski doubtful to play vs. Bears

The New England Patriots likely will be without Rob Gronkowski on Sunday. He was listed as doubtful Saturday night.

Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson also is active after being limited with a groin injury, and so is cornerback Prince Amukamara, who reinjured his hamstring against the Dolphins.

He was one of 10 Patriots players listed as questionable for Sunday's game. Khalil Mack has yet to miss an National Football League game in his career.

Gronkowski, 29, has caught 26 passes for 405 yards and one touchdown this season. Those numbers aren't especially prolific by his high standards, but Gronkowski's importance to the offense was evident when Tom Brady went his way in the final, critical moments of the Chiefs game last Sunday.

But the Pro Bowl tight end has not been ruled out yet.

- Cole Croston will be the top backup offensive tackle behind left tackle Trent Brown and right tackle LaAdrian Waddle, who will take over for Cannon. However, with several key Patriots on the mend and Gronk potentially not even present, Khalil Mack and the rest of the Chicago defense should be licking their chops when it comes time to face these Pats.
