Ariana Grande Returns the $100K Engagement Ring to Pete Davidson

Amid their high-profile romance, the "God is a Woman" singer chose to take some time away from the spotlight following the untimely death of her ex, Mac Miller, last month. Over the past couple months or so, in fact, she's had a lot going on: She mourned the loss of Mac Miller, with whom she was previously in a long-term relationship, and although neither she nor Pete Davidson have addressed it directly, it appears that they have called off their engagement and are no longer in a relationship.

Grande also wrote about her excitement over taping the Halloween special on her Story.

"Ok today was v special and i'm so grateful i was able to be there", Grande wrote.

A source recently told ET that it was Grande who made a decision to end her and Davidson's relationship.

The actor is said to be heartbroken as he was "so in love" with Ariana, 25, but realizes that the songstress is "emotionally unavailable" right now. There were days she just wanted to run away from the world just to get some peace and quiet and peace of mind.

Grande and Davidson got engaged in June after just a few weeks of dating, and a few weeks after Grande and rapper Mac Miller broke up. The singer's left ring finger, upon which she once bore the cursive scrawl of "pete", is now decorated with a beige band-aid. "Ariana is going through a very rough time right now and she has the absolute support of her family and friends", revealed the pal. "She thanks her fans for their understanding".

She has reportedly returned her $100,000 3.03-carat engagement ring to Davidson, though she is keeping their pet pig, Piggy Smalls.
