Turkish officials would not comment on the disposal method for the body, pending investigation and a planned search of the consul's residence. UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet on Tuesday urged the Governments of Saudi Arabia and Turkey to "reveal everything they know" about the disappearance and a possible extra-judicial killing of the prominent journalist, reported PTI.
But Riyadh insists that the journalist, a known critic of Saudi King Salman, had left the building and that murder claims are "baseless".

Turkish authorities have said they believe 15 Saudi men-government officials and intelligence officers-who arrived in Istanbul the day Khashoggi disappeared are tied to his suspected murder.
A State Department spokeswoman confirmed that Pompeo had not heard any audio recording purporting to indicate Khashoggi was killed.
Though the Khashoggi case has dominated his talks so far, Pompeo has raised other issues on his last-minute trip. The incident has resulted in a global outrage, more so in the USA as he lived here as a legal permanent resident and worked for "The Washington Post". He is a USA resident.
What other reaction has there been?
Global leaders and business executives are severing or rethinking ties to the Saudi government after Khashoggi's high-profile disappearance.
