"As he has said, there are a lot of reasons he joined the Lakers, including family and a number of basketball specific reasons, but team culture is as important to LeBron as talent".

James played the first half of the Lakers' 123-113 win over the Golden State Warriors in Las Vegas.

"It's exactly the same". Led by LeBron James' first-half double-double, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma combined for 48 points as Lonzo Ball filled up the stat sheet in his debut. Even with those solid halves, LeBron James was still the star for L.A., unsurprisingly, as he had 15 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists going into the break, which he capped off with a halftime buzzer-beater from just inside halfcourt.

"I've got very mature 14 and 11-year-olds, my 14 and 11-year-olds drink wine", LeBron said casually.

Being the second to last preseason game, we saw more of the starters and impact players in this game than we have seen in the previous preseason games.

"It takes effort and commitment", Walton said of the uptempo game.

As the Lakers will play the Warriors again in the preseason finale, the priority is health. "I know Luke is not gonna like that but everybody come out healthy, we're ready for next Thursday that's all that matters".
