Stardew Valley Is Headed To Smartphones With iOS Version Arriving October 24

It gets better. Not only will the game cost a very reasonable $7.99, but it will include all of the version 1.3 single-player content.

As for the Android version, that's coming later. The iOS version launches in two weeks, while the Android version is still in development.

Stardew Valley sees you moving from the big city to your (recently inherited) grandfather's old, run-down farm in sleepy Pelican Town.

The game will land on iOS on October 24, according to a blog post by developer Eric Barone (h/t: Polygon).

This studio is also working on completing an Android port of Stardew Valley, although there is now no release date for this version.

If you've played the PC version, you'll be happy to know that this isn't a cut-down version of Stardew Valley especially designed for mobile devices, but the full game. Unfortunately, mod support and multiplayer content isn't available in the mobile version.

Gaming on mobile has been improving at a far greater rate than any technology that came before it.

PC players can transfer their save data to the iOS version via iTunes - but make sure to always back up your save data first!

A release window for Android was not provided.
