The site notes that it's the second time in two weeks that she's sought urgent medical care due to an "alarmingly low white blood cell count". News broke on October 10 that Selena was hospitalized twice at the end of September for complications from her 2017 kidney transplant - specifically, a low white blood cell count, according to TMZ.

Fans around the world have poured onto social media to pray for United States singer Selena Gomez amidst reports that she was booked into a mental health facility after suffering a breakdown.

Two years later she checked into a Tennessee treatment center to focus on her mental health.

Reports say that Gomez "freaked out" after learning about her condition and attempted to rip an IV tube from her arm. The disease got so serious in 2017, that she had to have a kidney transplant.

It comes after Selena posted on 23rd September that she was taking a break from social media, and admitting to fans on an Instagram Live that she has suffered from depression for the past five years.

"She has had a tough few weeks and the panic attack in the hospital was the tipping point", a source told PEOPLE. Another added, "I love her with my whole heart".

According the gossip rag, Gomez has since been transported to a psychiatric facility on the East Coast and is being treated with dialectical behavior therapy, or DBT.

She announced the news on social media in September 2017, writing of Raisa on Instagram, "There aren't words to describe how I can possibly thank my attractive friend Francia Raisa". Just remember -negative comments can hurt anybody's feelings.

It's not the first time the troubled singer, who announced a social media sabbatical in late September, has sought help.
