Moon will also convey to Trump both his and Kim's desire to obtain a declaration ending the Korean War by the end of this year, he said.

The North Korean leader on Wednesday agreed to shutter the Tongchang-ri missile-testing site in the presence of worldwide observers, a move the U.S. welcomed by saying it was ready for immediate talks aimed at denuclearising the North.
"This will mark the beginning of negotiations to transform U.S. -DPRK relations through the process of rapid denuclearization of North Korea, to be completed by January 2021, as committed by Chairman Kim, and to construct a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula", Pompeo said.
He made the announcement at the press briefing that followed the signing of the Pyeongyang Joint Agreement on Wednesday.
