France's World Cup-winning captain Lloris is "expected to be out for several weeks" with a thigh injury according to the club, while manager Mauricio Pochettino is more hopeful Alli could return in time for the trip to Brighton on Sep 22.
Pochettino said he took some of the blame for the performance at Watford because he "could not change the situation" but believes after a painful 15 days stewing on it his side can lift the mood on Saturday.
Alli has been ruled out of the match against Liverpool due to injury, and Tottenham manager Pochettino has suggested that the 22-year-old England global striker will miss the Champions League match against Inter.
The head coach added: "He's the first that regrets everything, and all that happened yesterday is not good".

Alli suffered a hamstring injury against Spain in the first half and Tottenham are privately frustrated that the midfielder then completed the game.
I am so good, I am so happy.

Pochettino said: "Look, when in England the transfer window closed and in Europe closed I think we move on". Don't worry for me - we need to be anxious for the real things.
