iPhone XS vs Samsung Galaxy S9: How the features compare

Today, Samsung has released an invitation for an event that's taking place on 11th October. In a bid to stay ahead of the competition, Samsung has something special in store for fans. "Capture the fun with Samsung as the company celebrates the launch of the new device with A Galaxy Event on October 11, 2018", in a blog post.

The invite doesn't offer many hits to what we might see at the event, besides an image that says "4X the fun".

The "4x" matches the number of cameras.

At the start of the month, Ice Universe, a prominent Samsung leaker with a reputation for being reliable, Tweeted that the company had a phone with four rear cameras in the works. Will it be part of the flagship Galaxy S series, or is Samsung bringing big camera features to one of its mid-range lines? The tipster also suggested that all the four cameras will be placed at the back, making it the first smartphone with a quad-camera setup. Meanwhile, the front cameras are expected to come with a 12-megapixel main lens with variable aperture (f/1.5 to f/2.4), and another super-wide-angle lens at 16-megapixel with f/1.9 aperture.

Not too long ago, Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 9.
