Those lads at Nintendo have done it.
Another Animal Crossing character joins the fray.
When the long-awaited Nintendo Switch Online service goes live on September 18, subscribers will get access to 20 NES games including staples like Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo revealed in a Nintendo Direct stream on Thursday.
Fans can pre-order the system starting a little later this evening at select retailers, and we'll update this story as they go live so you can get one for yourself. U Deluxe is scheduled to release next year on January 11, 2019, exclusively for the Switch. This announcement made sense because NES games are coming to the Switch as part of Nintendo's online service.
The question is "What kind of Animal Crossing game are we getting?" is "Welcome to Animal Crossing" the full title, or just something that Nintendo used for the purposes of this teaser?
Fans of the second game, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will be pleased to know that the mischievous little Polterpup makes a return, most likely to cause havoc for ghost-busting plumber.
Although the 41 second trailer doesn't give away much, it does give us a sneak peek at the high quality graphics and gameplay. However, we imagine it's representative of what the actual game will look like.
