Google teases the Pixel 3 without giving much away

That's probably one of the reasons that Google adopted a more conservative approach when it comes to increasing the hype around the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

Google has a big "3" on Store page alongside a sign-up button in order to "Get the scoop". This year, the search giant is expected to come with a new colour option to make Pixel 3 devices stand out from the crowd.

Furthermore, when a user signs up for updates on the promo page, it says "Check back for more on October 9th" and "Looks like you've already enrolled for updates from the Google Store". Ahead of the launch event, Google has released a series of teasers on its official Japanese website, hinting at the device's arrival in three new colour options.

The first two colors are pretty standard, being white/gray and black/dark gray, though it's worth pointing out that the white/gray color scheme features a green accent around the inner border of the device.

Still, perhaps Google felt the teaser was needed, as while we know for sure that Google is holding an announcement on October 9, as it has sent out invites to one, they gave even less away, with just the text "I 3 NY" included. "Be on the lookout for some news from us on October 9", when tried to sign up again.
