In the song "The Fall", Eminem raps, "Tyler create nothin', I see why you called yourself a f--t, bitch", in reference to Tyler, the Creator. "But I also get to say whatever the fuck I want about you now". On November 10, 2017, Tyler tweeted out, "Dear god this song is disgusting sheesh what the f-k", seemingly in reference to the track.
On "Rap Devil", MGK made fun of Em's recent music, claimed that Em had had him banned from Shade 45, goofed on the fact that Eminem is shorter than him, and said that Em can't take a joke. "He's super charismatic and shit, but I'm sitting back like, man, at what point do I have to say something just to defend myself?"
"When Tyler tweeted out the thing about "Walk on Water"-this f-king song is frightful, I was like, 'Alright, I need to say something now because this is f-king stupid, '" the rapper recalled to Calloway".
Slim Shady added, "Because in my quest to hurt him, I realize that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it". "Rihanna just hit me on a text / Last night, I left hickeys on her neck".
Eminem explained that he kept coming back to that word when putting the album together because he didn't "feel right" about it, so his team "spun the word back" to obscure it, but he now realizes everyone could still understand what he's saying.
Regarding his freestyle Donald Trump cipher at the 2017 BET Awards, Em said the Secret Service ended up coming to his recording studio to investigate his intentions behind the public diss. You think I actually f-ing think about you?
Eminem's highly anticipated response to Machine Gun Kelly's diss track finally dropped on Friday September 14. Six years ago might seem a long time, but some things aren't forgiven or forgotten very easily - and apparently not if you're Eminem. "Shut the f-k up".
