Bachelor star Amanda Stanton ‘ashamed’ as she’s arrested for domestic battery

Now, Honig tells People magazine that Amanda is "embarrassed" and "ashamed" by the incident and "sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department". The Bachelor In Paradise star landed in custody after giving her boyfriend Bobby Jacobs "what she thought was a playful shove", according to the September 11 statement Amanda's rep, Steve Honig, gave Access. Despite Jacobs telling officials it was not an ill-intended shove, security felt that the push was hard enough to call police. Through the course of the investigation, it was found that there was probable cause to arrest Stanton on one count of Battery Domestic Violence. 'Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance'.

Below are photos of Amanda and boyfriend Bobby, plus a picture of Amanda at the bachelorette party this weekend. She then got "rambunctious" after hotel security asked her and Jacobs to lower their volume, which allegedly led to a physical interaction with Jacobs.

TMZ reported that both Stanton and Jacobs were drunk at the time of her arrest. While Bobby was talking to the guard, Amanda reportedly tried to intervene and shoved her boyfriend.

Police officers who arrived on scene arrested her for misdemeanor domestic violence, the website said, adding that it's believed Amanda was 'inebriated'.

"Amanda, 28, was reportedly taken into custody in the early morning hours on Monday, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department".

She has yet to comment publicly on her arrest.

On Tuesday, Amanda shared a photo of herself and Bobby on board a private jet to her Instagram Story.

Amanda appeared on the Ben Higgins season 20 of ABC's The Bachelor finishing in fourth place.

Jordan and Jenna met during Bachelor in Paradise Season 5. The two ended their relationship in 2017, and Stanton began dating "Bachelor" alum Robby Hayes. He proposed to her on the last day of filming, and they seemed happy together as of the reunion show taping.

Not necessarily closing the door completely on reconciliation, Jordan told Reality Steve that he's not sure how she'll prove the text messages wrong.

Bobby, 32, is a pro volleyball player and an entrepreneur.

In crowd: The couple went public with their romance in May, two months after they started dating.
