Netflix cancels comedian Michelle Wolf's show

Anti-Trump comedian Michelle Wolf had her show cancelled by Netflix Friday, reportedly over low viewership.

The site also reported that the streaming service has cancelled The Joel McHale Show too. Wolf had previously appeared as a correspondent on The Daily Show and a writer for Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The Break's 10-episode season premiered in May and aired over 10 weeks, with a finale on July 29.

For her July 4th special, Wolf said abortions should be celebrated. Say: "Ivanka, you're like vaginal mesh". Women, if you need an abortion, get one.

Wolf's controversial brand of comedy continued at Netflix, which debuted shortly after the White House Correspondents' Dinner in late May.

While The Joel McHale Show had a relatively quiet run, The Break launched with a bang, The first trailer for the show was released in April, immediately following Wolf's polarizing and much talked-about hosting stint at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
