"The Davis family is brokenhearted over the devastating loss of Deven Davis", reads a statement issued by the metal singer's publicist (via Consequence Of Sound). "We thank you for your love, understanding and prayers of support during this hard time".

Jonathan - famous for songs incluing Freak On A Leash, Falling Away From Me and Twisted Transistor - was previously married to high school sweetheart Renee Perez from 1998 to 2000; the pair have a 22-year-old son called Nathan together. No cause of death was mentioned, but TMZ wrote that Deven, who allegedly had a long-running drug problem, "went AWOL" last Friday from the sober house she was staying in. However, the two appeared together in a Facebook video on December 31, 2017 to discuss Davis' Somber One fashion line.

According to TMZ, Jonathan filed for divorce from Deven back in 2016, and for a domestic violence restraining order today. She was "constantly under the influence of the nitrous oxide, cocaine and Norco", he claimed.

The Korn frontman alleged his estranged wife had severe drug problems and her drug use was causing emotional harm to the kids through neglect, TMZ repoted. On top of that, Jonathan has claimed that recently, when he took his children to visit her, he found her drug dealer boyfriend passed out on a couch, her passed out on a bed, and drugs and drug paraphernalia floating inside a toilet bowl. He alleged that she had become neglectful of their two children and would "routinely bring home unsavory characters, including strangers".

Earlier today, we posted an article about Korn's excesses 20 years ago.

"They saved me from being an idiot and dying from a drug overdose. I really get off on that", he said. "It's more me dealing with my inner demons".
