To mark Prince George's birthday on Sunday, his doting parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - as with tradition - released a gorgeous portrait of their eldest son to mark his fifth year on the eve of his big day.
George has made a number of eventful public appearances over the past 12 months, from starting school to a cheeky moment on Buckingham Palace's balcony, as the royal family celebrated the Queen's official birthday.
Porteous shared the adorable shot, which was taken in the Clarence House garden, to Instagram today, writing in a caption, "Happy birthday Prince George 'It was a privilege to take this photograph of Prince George, and I am delighted that The Duke and Duchess have chosen to share it". Prince William, for one, occasionally looked exasperated at their antics.
In the latest snap George can be seen grinning widely and looking straight into the camera.
