The last two years are not guaranteed, a league source said.
This morning, the team traded reserve center Richaun Holmes to the Phoenix Suns for cash, according to source. The 76ers on Thursday also were part of the three-team Carmelo Anthony trade with Oklahoma City and Atlanta, sending forward Justin Anderson to the Hawks and forward Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot to the Thunder and receiving Mike Muscala.
Now, the Sixers have made another move.
The hope was that he would have joined the team last season after being a second-round selection, the No. 36 overall pick, in the 2017 National Basketball Association draft. However, it soon became clear that the Sixers made the move in order to open up a roster spot. He played last season with the Israeli club, Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Holmes was selected by Philadelphia in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft after three seasons at Bowling Green.
Bolden rejoined the 76ers for Summer League for the second straight year where he went on to average 6.5 points and 6 rebounds per game.
Bolden now joins a growing contingent of Aussies to make it in the National Basketball Association.
