Roseanne Barr is attempting to explain the racist tweet that landed her in hot water.

The comedian and sitcom star who was sacked and had her show "Roseanne" cancelled after comparing former Obama administration official Valerie Jarrett to an ape, posted a clip from the new show in which she defends her actions, citing ignorance.

He's cut off by Roseanne, who channels the rage of every white lady who has ever asked "where is your manager?", looks directly into the camera, widens her eyes and screams at the top of her lungs: "I thought the bitch was white!"

Screaming at her interviewer, who starts rambling on about "a president killing a hooker", with all her might, she totally flips out: 'I'm trying to talk about Iran; I'm trying to talk about Valerie Jarrett; I'm trying to talk about the Iran deal. "I'm trying to talk about Valerie Jarrett wrote the Iran Deal". "That's what my tweet was about. God dammit, I thought the b***h was white!" I thought the bitch was white.

She also said she would film an interview with herself after canceling a TV interview calling the media "distrustful".

According to TMZ, Barr has been working at her son Jake Pentland's Full Moon & High Tide studio over the last week interviewing friends and family for a new talk show.

"I know", he responds.

Barr's original tweet about Jarret read, "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj", using Jarrett's initials while replying to a tweet that accused Jarrett of covering up alleged indiscretions by the Obama administration.

"I'm a lot of things", she said during a call to Rabbi Shmuley Boteach's podcast in June.

The video concludes with her taking a drag on her cigarette as people off-camera laugh.

She added that her tweets "didn't mean what they think I meant ..."

The video is titled "Roseanne explains the Valerie Jarrett tweet".

'I am so sorry, ' she continued. "It was my own ignorance, and there's no excuse for that ignorance", she said.
