Marvel's Iron Fist returning in September, can't possibly be worse

Marvel's Iron Fist TV show on Netflix

‘Iron Fist’ Gets Season 2 September Launch Date On Netflix – Comic-Con

If you enjoyed Black Panther, especially the fight scenes, then you'll be excited about this new move for Marvel's Iron Fist season 2. But we don't get to see that in this teaser just yet. It will likely give fans another peek at the Daughters of the Dragon-relationship with Jessica Henwick's martial arts expert Colleen Wing, who had a similar guest role in Luke Cage season 2, supporting Misty through a tough time in her life. It isn't much, but it already feels like an improvement. But most of the agreed problems of the first season had to do with pacing and writing more than anything else.

Marvel has been live-streaming during San Diego Comic-Con and yesterday they caught up with Clayton Barber to talk briefly about the show. Oh good, more Iron Fist takes!

"Season 2 furthers the transformation of Danny, a character with a fish out of water coming of age story making his way in a harsh new world, battling to work out who he is". They are tethered together by a yellow rope.

A lot went wrong with the first season of Marvel's Iron Fist and reception to it was unbelievably bleak, with critics calling the series "laughably bad", "a middling superhero show that further pales when compared to Marvel's ground-breaking Netflix series Luke Cage and Jessica Jones", a "drab patch in that endless Marvel tapestry", and "easily the worst thing to come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far". After teaming with the heroes in THE DEFENDERS, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) is back in the second season of IRON FIST, which just dropped its first trailer during Comic-Con with a premiere date of September 7.
