Cherwinski is also now facing criminal charges after Holden responded to his grope by grabbing him by the arm, pulling him towards her and then slamming him to the ground.
"I looked at him and I said, 'You don't touch me, motherf****r!' I didn't even think, I just reacted".
The incident took place on June 30. The waitress immediately grabbed the man by his collar and threw him to the floor as customers watched.
The waitress can then be seen pointing her finger at him and berating him.
Witness: Cherwinski and girlfriend Erica Martin (above) have been together for 11 years, and she was with him at the restaurant when he groped their server and was arrested.
The surveillance video was later posted on Reddit where it went viral with over 50,000 upvotes.
Holden later told People magazine she told the man: "You don't touch me, motherf--!" I know what happened, I was there. The suspect, Ryan Cherwinski, 31, spent two nights in jail before being released. "I've never done that before".
"I took the guy down and had my co-workers call the police", she said.
"In martial arts, you're trained to try and defuse a situation, versus being the first one to attack", Cassetta says.
Holden spoke with the Daily Mail, explaining her situation.
"I appreciate all of the kind words from everyone but I'd also appreciate it if people would stop tagging me in the video", Holden wrote on her Facebook page. He told police at the incident that "it was an accident that he grabbed the waitress, that he was only trying to inform her to move because she was in the way". It shows Emelia yelling at the suspect - who was arrested after cops reviewed the footage.
She continued: "All that I want from my experiences is for women to know that it's okay to stand up for yourself. You also have the right to wear whatever you want without having to worry about being groped".
