Huawei has finally took the wrap off from its first smartphone that is powered by the latest Kirin 710 processor. The device will be exclusively available on Amazon India website. While the Huawei Talkband B5 and Nova 3 will go on sale later this month in China, the Nova 3i smartphone will be available starting next month. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot.
It might have powerful internals, but the Huawei Nova 3 is all about its four cameras
Chinese company Huawei is about to launch the Nova 3 series that includes Nova 3 and Nova 3i in India scheduled for July 26. Like the Huawei P20 ($536 at Amazon.com), the Nova 2i takes on a similar glass back with a handsome gradient hue, and also sports a familiar iPhone ($1,000 at Cricket Wireless) X-ish notch. Apart from the processor the two phones Nova 3 and Nova 3i seem to have similar specs and that includes a 24 megapixel and 16 megapixel dual rear cameras and 24 megapixel and 2 megapixel dual front cameras. It is backed by a 3340mAh battery. It also has support for LTE Cat. The smartphone is also expected to sport a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display that will have 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and a notched display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The new 3i is set to be powered by a new Kirin 710 octa-core processor that has been built using a 12nm FinFET process. As for the Nova 3i, it comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, two storage options (64GB or 128GB), and a slightly smaller 3,340mAh battery. For the front, there are dual rear cameras as well. This bad boy comes with a grand total of four cameras, all of which, according to Huawei, are made better by AI enhancements in areas as diverse as automatic scene recognition, selfie beautification, ambient lighting, and portrait taking. It comes with a USB Type-C port and has to be connected to the smartphone for capturing photos or videos. It measures 157.60 x 75.20 x 7.60 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 169.00 grams.
