Sacha Baron Cohen's 'Who Is America?' Character Rebuts Sarah Palin

Sacha Baron Cohen's U.S. TV show disrupts ahead of first broadcast

Sacha Baron Cohen pranks Sarah Palin for new show

Days after former Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin revealed she was "duped" by Sacha Baron Cohen's upcoming comedy show Who Is America?

Furious to have been duped, Palin contacted one of the world's most prestigious news organizations (The Daily Mail), and challenged Cohen, Showtime and CBS to donate all the proceeds from Who Is America? to a charity benefiting actual wounded USA military veterans.

Palin had claimed Cohen disguised himself as a "disabled U.S. veteran" during the interview before she walked out.

On Thursday, Cohen fired back at Palin. well, sort of. Sacha, aka Dr. Ruddick, says he's the one who interviewed her, and adds.

The image also contained the URL to Ruddick's right-wing "website", which features articles like "Obama is a Kenyan", "Crooked Hillary" and "Hollywood Satanic Elite".

Roy Moore issued a vague threat to sue Showtime, the channel on which the new Sacha Baron Cohen series will be televised Sunday. The accused child molester, who unsuccessfully ran for senator in Alabama past year, claims he was invited to Washington, DC in February to receive an award for my strong support of Israel. It's worth noting that Cohen is Jewish.

The letter, addressed to "Vice-President Palin", appears to be a response to her Tuesday Facebook post in which she vents her frustration about the comedian's trickery, having traveled across the country with her daughter for the interview with a man she thought was a war hero, only to learn it was a setup for Baron Cohen's Showtime series, "Who Is America?". "I sat down and we started talking pro-Israel stuff, Israeli defense, and then out of left field the interviewer starts talking about how children should defend themselves against terrorist attacks", Walsh recalled.
