It was noted a few months back that the game's sales surpassed other Capcom greats, such as Resident Evil.
The world of "Monster Hunter" is coming to life in the form of a new animated special. Monster Hunter: Legend of the Guild tells the story of a fearless young man determined to prove himself as a monster hunter worthy of recognition; however, his chance arrives all too soon when he discovers that his remote village lies in the path of an Elder Dragon-a veritable force of nature made flesh. And they should. They announced a computer-animated special, today. Production is projected for completion this winter, with a global premiere scheduled for 2019.
Pure Imagination Studios, an award-winning studio that's known for work on Justice League: Battle for Metropolis, Lego Batman, and more previewed the collaboration with a goal of creating a "powerful and engaging" story. Hopefully we'll have a sneak peek at what the special might look like in the future, but right now all we can really do is guess. However, we were given a name and a kind of a teaser premise.
Take down these monsters and receive materials that you can use to create stronger weapons and armor in order to hunt even more risky monsters. The special is going to tell the tale of a male warrior who leaves his hometown to hunt down a risky Elder Dragon. The project was written by Joshua Fine, who was responsible for the Stars Ultimate Spider-Man series.
