Sony's latest design hits mid-range phones on the Xperia XA2 Plus

Sony Xperia XA2 Plus now official with 6-inch display and 23MP camera

The specifications of the two smartphones are very similar, but the XA2 Plus has its own design language using a diamond cut manufacturing process that sets it apart from the XA2 Ultra, and indeed most of its direct competition.

Sony has launched a new phone under its Xperia XA series which is dubbed as Sony Xperia XA2 Plus.

We also don't know which countries the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus will be sold in.

At this moment, we are not sure if Sony Mobile will import this into Malaysia, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

The Xperia XA2 Plus features a 6-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 screen aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Both come in 32GB and 64GB storage configurations with expandable storage. It will be available in green, silver, gold, and black when it goes on sale in late August 2018. There is a microSD card slot onboard, which allows storage expansion up tp 400GB via microSD card. The Xperia XA2 Plus will be focused to improve multimedia experiences, given Sony's Hi-Res audio support and camera technology are included in the device. "On the camera front, the smartphone will bear the rear camera of 23-megapixel with 1/2.3" Exmos RS sensor, Hybrid Auto-Focus, 84° wide-angle f/2.0 lens. The device comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. On the front, there's an 8MP selfie camera with 120-degree wide-angle sensor and f/2.4 aperture lens. The battery pack is pretty good standing at 3580mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 technology, also running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Connecitivity options on this phone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C.
