This time, Apple could introduce as many as four new color options for the 2018 iPhone series - something that has never been done before.
With the gray and white options for the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone, Kuo may be referring to the Space Gray and Silver finishes now offered for the iPhone X. Apple has also released Product (RED) variants of iPhones, but the recent wave only included the iPhone 8 and IPhone 8 Plus, not the iPhone X. However, now Apple has promised to excite the users with an array of bright colors including cobalt blue, mint green, sunny orange, blood red and traditional gold! Looking at the leaked images of the upcoming device, it appears that the gold color option would have a tinge of rose gold in it, similar to the iPhone 8 and the Apple Watch Series 3.
Apple is also expected to include fast chargers with all its new 2018 iPhone models to charge up to 30 percent faster than current models can.
Kuo, in addition to revealing the color options for the upcoming iPhones, said that he is also increasing his prediction for iPhone sales.
Apple is upping the ante with its iPhone lineup this 2018, with noted mobile tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo releasing a new report stating that the Cupertino-based tech giant would be introducing a new plethora of color options to its smartphone line this September.
Kuo expects a burst of demand for the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED iPhones at launch from early adopters of the device. However, the general market will be attracted toward the cheaper 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. The iPhone X comes in silver and black. That too came in a variety of colors, but it was not as strong a seller as Apple had hoped, and the model was discontinued soon after its release.
While the 6.1-inch iPhone X is expected to feature an affordable single lens camera, the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus may feature a triple lens camera setup on the rear.
