To celebrate our freedom and everything that makes America great, we compiled a list of all the festivals, parades, fireworks and fun to make this year's July 4th a blast!

There will be limited parking, but additional parking can be found on Md. The National Weather Service predicts a high of 88 with a 30 percent chance of storms after 2 p.m.

Until recently, Pennsylvania allowed the sale of most fireworks 365 days a year-but only to people who could show out-of-state identification.

Recent wildfires throughout OR have caused State Fire Marshal Jim Walker to reissue safety warnings for fireworks usage, even though numerous blazes were lightning-caused and the cause is still being investigated on others.

July 3 fireworks may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. on July 4, on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24 may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. on Dec. 25, and on Dec. 31, fireworks may be used and discharged until 1 a.m. January 1.

Did we miss a local event happening on Independence Day?

Yes, fireworks are popular, and they are a Fourth of July mainstay dating back to the Second Continental Congress and the Declaration of Independence. A children's bike parade will take place from 10 noon Wednesday at Immaculate Conception School to Metter Park, Columbia. The fireworks show will be around 9:30 pm.

Hamilton: The 2018 City of Hamilton 4 of July fireworks display will be held at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds beginning at approximately 10 p.m. The game starts at 6:30 pm, and fireworks will follow.

Despite the firestorm, which destroyed 5,300 homes in Sonoma County alone, spinners, sparklers and other personal fireworks can be purchased this week in four of nine local cities. Plus, Houston's premier 80's tribute band The Ruxpins will be playing.

By 3 p.m. people already put down lawn chairs and blankets to save a spot for the show.

Independence Day at the Alamo: The Alamo's Fourth of July celebration includes music, "Living History", readings of the Declaration of Independence, and more.

Finch & Fork and the Canary Hotel are celebrating the 4th of July with Rock the Rooftop, an open-air party full of bites, sips and views.

- The Menan fireworks begin at 10 the LDS Church on the corner of 3550 East and the Menan Lorenzo Highway. Visitors will get to watch the Queen Mary fireworks. Most events are free to attend, and there are plenty of family-friendly activities to choose from.
