White House press secretary Sarah Sanders responded to a report Wednesday that she was planning to leave the administration.

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders is responding to claims that she is leaving the White House after a report produced by CBS News said that she is leaving at the end of the year.

Sanders took over briefing duties full-time from Sean Spicer after he resigned. Shah is also considering leaving, but hasn't decided on an exact date yet.

According to sources that spoke to CBS News, Sanders told friends she plans to leave by the end of the year. "I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS", she tweeted. She became the dean of Trump administration communications directors, sticking around a good six months before resigning the day after she testified before the House Intelligence Committee.

Sanders has served as Trump's press secretary since July 2017. Staffers who have left or been forced out of their jobs have described a dysfunctional and toxic working environment.
