BIG WORLD GAME MAKER Bethesda has given Fallout 76 a proper reveal, showcasing a traditional 3D Fallout game mixed with online-only multiplayer. As referenced in other Fallout games, Vault 76 is one of the control vaults built by Vault-Tec where no bad social experiments were performed on its inhabitants.
"I hope my house survived WW3", McElroy joked about the new game which is expected to have a heavy multi-player component.
"Fallout" fans - and anyone who enjoys video games at all, really - should mark your calendars for November 14, when "Fallout 76" is released. That acronym isn't just for show, as it stands for "Break-it Early Test Application". Then, images of the Capitol building, Woodburn Hall at West Virginia University, The Greenbrier, the New River Gorge Bridge and even Mothman appeared in the preview for "Fallout 76".
Your progression will remain static, as well, which means that Fallout 76 should be pretty accessible. It comes with a ton of interesting goodies one of them being a direct access to the upcoming beta.
Fallout 76 is 4 times the size of Fallout 4.
"Fallout Shelter" is a free-to-play sim game where you build a vault, fill it with dwellers, and go on quests in the Wasteland. Howard made it clear that you can play alone if you want, and all of your progress will carry over when you decide to play with others. There was no word about private servers or a way to remove the PvP side of the game. You'll have to deal with risky radiation, but you'll also find new enemies that deliver major rewards. It is an "untamed wasteland", and according to Bethesda, Fallout 76 figures to be the largest, most dynamic world ever created in the Fallout universe. Howard cheekily stated, "I've read on the internet that our games have had a few bugs", referring to how a lot of Bethesda's games have launched alongside a heap of bugs. These include a glow in the dark map, twenty-four Fallout figurines, in-game items, and a T-51b Power Armor helmet. The latter is actually wearable for those preparing for the end of the world.
