For the last two years, Sony has used E3 as a showcase for its upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive Spider-Man title from Insomniac Games. Just as he's ready to focus on life as Peter, a new villain threatens New York City. A cinematic trailer starts out with Spider-Man approaching an enormous prison in the water by riding on the side of a helicopter. On top of that, the gameplay trailer also introduces the five villains that will be in the game - and one mysterious one. If a building isn't nearby to latch Spidey's web to then he will fall to the ground and lose all momentum. Now a seasoned Super Hero, Peter Parker has been busy keeping crime off the streets as Spider-Man. There is a lot of freedom in the traversal and the mechanics felt refined and well tuned.
The new trailer pointed towards the inclusion of the Sinister Six, a team of Spider-Man's most formidable foes.
This one will definitely get ever hack-and-slash fan hyped, because we are finally going to get an open-world samurai game. Spider-Man can rack up big melee strings, knock enemies in the air and perform web combos, and web up huge chunks of enemies at a time to pin them to the ground. It was impressive and the flawless demo for a game that is surely at the top of many people's wish lists. The spidey-sense symbol warns the player of an incoming attack, but the best response is to change up the pace of combat rather than simply press a button. During it he encounters some of his most famous enemies: Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, and the Vulture.
