Manchester United target Marko Arnautovic refuses to rule out move

Marko Arnautovic sends message to Jose Mourinho over Man Utd transfer

Marko Arnautovic is being linked with Manchester United

West Ham United winger Marko Arnautovic has played down speculation linking him with a mega-money move to Manchester United, saying he is happy at the London club, according to Sky Sports.

A recent report by Sky Sports claims Manchester United are keen on signing the Austria worldwide this summer, with the Hammers valuing the player at a whopping £50 million.

"I am happy with my job". I've never heard anything.

"Even three weeks ago I haven't heard anything".

Arnautovic only joined West Ham for a club-record £20 million ($27m) fee in the summer of 2017 and is tied to a contract through to 2022.

Arnautovic has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford after enjoying a brilliant season for West Ham in the Premier League.

"That's why I can not say anything about it. That's why I can not say anything about it.The only thing that bothers me is that I am in good health and that I am able to play football".

Arnautovic has been the subject of interest from Jose Mourinho in recent weeks as the Portuguese tactician was spotted scouting him on global duty last week.

The Red Devils are unwilling to meet West Ham's £60m asking price for Arnautovic and value the attacker at around £35m.

Arnautovic bagged 11 times in 22 games times since David Moyes' appointment in December and was West Ham's player of the season following his £24m arrival from Stoke last summer.

United boss Jose Mourinho will be looking to seriously bolster his squad this summer as he seeks to wrestle Premier League supremacy away from neighbours Manchester City.
