TN SSLC pass percentage increases in 2018

The overall pass percentage for Tamil Nadu Class 10 or SSLC result 2018 stands at 94.5% which marginally increased by 0.1% compared to last year

Compared to 2017, there is not much change in the result; in the TN SSLC 2017, students had secured a pass percentage of 94.4%.

The official websites of Tamil Nadu DGE and board's official websites have not yet activated the links to check the results. The SSLC 10th result has been uploaded on the official website tnresults.nic.in by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Government of Tamil Nadu.

Students can check their exam results using their exam registration number and date of birth.

Almost 10 lakh students from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry appeared for SSLC board exams that were conducted between March 16 and April 20. May 23, 9.06 am: While 96.4% of the girls have cleared the exam, the pass percentage of boys is 92.5%. According to the Times of India, TN 10th class students registered a pass percentage of 94.5%, with girls scoring better than boys.

Candidates are advised to take a printout of the exam results for records. In Language, 96.42% managed to pass, while in Maths 96.18% passed the TN 10th exam.

Candidates can also check their results at dge.tn.gov.in, dge1.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in and dge1.tn.nic.in.

Highest pass percentage is recorded in Science subject (98.47%).

Sivagangai comes first in the State with 98.5 pass percentage, followed by Erode - (98.38 per cent) Virudhunagar (98.29). Candidates can check the results once it is officially announced. Once the result is released, you will receive a notification to check it.

The Tamil Nadu SSLC/ 10 Class Exam was held from 16 March to 20 April 2018 in the state.
