Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marry at Windsor Castle

Meghan changed into a Stella McCartney dress for her wedding reception at Frogmore House.

After the handsome service in the church, the newlyweds seals their union with a kiss as they stepped outside before setting off on a carriage procession.

The newlyweds, who had woken that morning as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are said to have eschewed a slow first dance for livelier tunes, from 1960s R&B to the dance hits of the 1980s.

Markle seemed poised and confident as she delivered her vows without so much as a quiver in her voice.

The wedding was a global event, thanks to Harry's status as a senior British royal and Markle's celebrity after starring on the US television series "Suits" for seven years. She smiled broadly as the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby declared them husband and wife.

But, at one point, Meghan is seen grabbing Harry's hand and not the other way round in a move that admonished - or scolded - her lover, according to a world-renowned body language expert.

The biggest cheers were reserved for Meghan and Harry, though Princess Charlotte drew some "awwws" after appearing on the big screen. But their reactions after the ceremony became instant memes, as fans shared GIFs of Charlotte's exaggerated royal wave and George's smaller, seemingly agitated gesture on social media. As people began to disperse and head towards the exits, it began to dawn that an event that so many had looked forward to for so long was over.

Stars among the 600 guests included Serena Williams, Idris Elba, James Blunt, Tom Hardy and James Corden. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hopped in a carriage and took a ride around the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The Queen, wearing a lime silk dress, was accompanied by Prince Philip.

A host of other royals were also present, including the Princess Royal, Prince Andrew and his daughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. Morgan also correctly predicted that Prince Charles would be the one to walk Markle down the aisle.

St. George's Chapel was decorated with white roses, the favorite flower of Prince Harry's mother Princess Diana, who died in a auto crash in Paris in 1997 when Harry was 12.

You might remember how, when she married Prince William back in 2011, Kate Middleton swapped her Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen ceremony gown for a more streamlined (but no less breathtaking) dress by the same designer to wear to the reception at Buckingham Palace.

From the couple getting the giggles at the altar to Meghan's mom becoming emotional while taking in her daughter's big day, the ceremony was full of familiar moments.

Meghan's father, Thomas Markle Sr., was supposed to attend until health concerns ruled him out.

The royal couple cut the lemon and elderflower cake, while Charles and Harry made speeches introduced by William.

Observers saw a clear nod to the mother-in-law whom Meghan will never meet in the choice of her wedding dress train.
