Meghan Markle's father rejected surgery in Mexican hospital: Health Ministry

Meghan Markle's Sister Hospitalized After An Alleged Run-In With Paps

Report: Meghan Markle's Half-Sister Samantha Grant Suffers Injuries In Car Crash

Coverage for the Royal Wedding in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle will begin at 9am local time, which will be 4am in Florida. "I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health".

"The media is disparaging us". The handful of photographers posted outside on Wednesday said they hadn't had a sighting in two weeks, but nobody was preparing to leave.

Luckily, the ex-husband has been won over by Meghan because he reportedly has agreed to not go ahead with his television show about an American divorcee who becomes a princess. He is now unable to fly overseas to attend the wedding due to his recovery.

Her father pulled out of the ceremony for health reasons, Kensington Palace announced Friday.

Samantha Markle has hit out at her sister, Meghan Markle, yet again.

Samantha then came forward to say the pictures had been her idea, as she wanted to show her father in a good light and counter previously unflattering paparazzi images. He also stated that he wasn't going to attend the wedding "because he doesn't want to embarrass the royal family or his daughter [VIDEO]".

First, there was news of Thomas Markle's heart attack, which has landed him in surgery, meaning he will be unable to attend the wedding at all.

Then, there was another twist when Thomas told TMZ he needed heart surgery on Wednesday, which meant he would unlikely be able to travel to the United Kingdom for the wedding.

The only official clue about Markle's health came in a statement by the Baja California's Health Secretariat, which said Markle arrived at 6:37 a.m. on May 3, complaining of chest pains that had started four hours earlier.

73-year-old Thomas is now recovering from heart surgery which took place earlier this week and is said to be devastated to be missing his daughter's wedding.

"The patient chose to voluntarily leave on the afternoon of Friday, May 4, to continue his care at a private medical facility", the ministry said.

Like other USA citizens treated at the hospital, Markle was offered transportation to the border, but declined, a hospital source said, and said he meant to pursue treatment in Mexico.

The school, founded in 1906 by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, has mission-style terra cotta roofs and is located just a few miles from the landmark Hollywood sign.

Back in Mexico, the pursuit has not ended.
