Hard Knocks 2018: Cleveland Browns to be featured on HBO show, Baker Mayfield likely to be highlight

The Cleveland Browns have reportedly been selected to appear on HBO's "Hard Knocks", the long-running, behind-the-scenes series that will shadow the team throughout training camp and the pre-season.

The Browns have never appeared on the series. This will be the first time that the Browns are the subject of the show. The HBO documentary series offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look at a different National Football League team each preseason.

The Browns were outscored by almost 200 points last season while joining the 2008 Lions as the only teams to complete a season 0-16.

According to Schefter, the official announcement will be made at some point on Thursday.

The Browns were one of six finalists for the documentary this year.

Fans will tune in to see how head coach Hue Jackson goes about turning around an 0-16 team and also how No. 1 overall draft pick Baker Mayfield adjusts to the NFL.

Last year, the show centered around the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including former OU defensive lineman Gerald McCoy.
