Alia Bhatt plays a Kashmiri girl in Raazi

His film, "Raazi" is running successfully.

The popular Amul girl was seen in an attire similar to the one Alia Bhatt wore in the movie along with a bread and butter knife in her hand.

Raazi's box office collection is an example of why content and brilliant performances will always prevail over the typical Bollywood masala films, some of which have terribly failed at the box office in 2018.

Since then, she has starred in movies like Badrinath ki Dulhania, Dear Zindagi, Udta Punjab and Kapoor and sons, and established herself as a talent to be reckoned with. "This girl who in just 25 years of age has achieved so much in such less time and has seen stardom like no one else her age - but despite all this, she is so grounded, which truly reflects her upbringing". Raazi revolves around the life of Sehmat, Alia Bhatt, an Indian spy who is married off to a Pakistani officer so that she can give important insights to the Indian intelligence officers about the plans that were being made in Pakistan against India. "She makes all her co-stars feel extremely comfortable - I too shared a good bond with her throughout the shoot", added the actress, who has featured in projects like "Golmaal", "Nach Baliye 7", season two of "24". Raazi earned Rs 5.90 crore on its sixth day, thus taking the total collections of the film to a staggering Rs 51.24 crore. She was literally my "bucket-list" director.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Raazi, also starring Vicky Kaushal, Rajit Kapur, Jaideep Ahlawat and Soni Razadan, was released worldwide on May 11.
