- Roman Reigns opens the show and comes out to a very loud but mixed reaction.
This feud between Mahal and Reigns is definitely not working very well for "The Big Dog" and as we noted on Raw, the London crowd didn't have a positive reaction for Reigns as they made a decision to cheer for the heel Jinder Mahal instead. He was denied by Kurt Angle, so "The Big Dog" took matters into his own hands by fighting Mahal twice backstage.
According to Ringside News, he said: "I think they have this idea that since it's against Jinder, they are going to cheer for Roman Reigns, but that's not going to happen". Not exactly happy, Reigns sought out Mahal and brawled backstage with him, with the Modern Day Maharaja barely escaping.
So, it came as no surprise that fans instantly knew the game WWE was playing when they chose to ignite a feud between Reigns and Jinder Mahal, following the latter's move over from SmackDown LIVE to Monday Night RAW as part of the Superstar Shake-up.
Instead of Mahal, Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring, and he does not look happy. Last week he had a way to get to Brock Lesnar without having to depend on the board: winning the qualifying bout for Money in The Bank. Roode sendsa a charging Corbin out of the ring before nailing Jose with a Glorious DDT for a three count. Some UK indie wrestlers were in Jose's conga line.
Angle says he would understand if Reigns is mad at him and Reigns say that he isn't, Reigns says he has some business to take care of before exiting the ring. Lots of chants for The B Team, who demanded a title shot after the match.
This week on Raw, it's more of the same! They lost the crowd here, worst than during the six-woman match. "Lashley and Sami, we'll see".
- Bobby Lashley was the star of an interview conducted by Renee Young last week where the former ECW champion spoke of his family and his childhood. Sami reveals that he is bringing Lashley's sister to next week's RAW to expose him.
Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match - Ember Moon vs. Charlotte Flair vs. 6 TBD: Moon earned her spot right off the bat, and Flair claimed her spot the next night on SmackDown. Bliss got the pin on Bayley to win.
Strowman, Miz. Balor and Rusev are the four wrestlers who have qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match till now.
