Epic Games was quick to fix the issues, so hopefully that's a sign of things to come for this particular quirk.

Originally, the update was scheduled to go live at the same time on May 15th, but an apparent issue was discovered which delayed the release of the patch by a whole day. Epic Games has promised to update players once they have "a more accurate time frame".

The Fortnite 4.2 patch notes have yet to be released, as they will coincide with the launch of the v4.2 update. If some Fortnite weekly challenges / quests aren't working properly for you, that's why.

Currently, this option is not available on the Fortnite Mobile platform, meaning it's not an option for iOS users.

With every game nowadays, a new patch can cause a host of other unforeseen problems, and Fortnite is no exception.
