PUBG Mobile Getting Miramar Map and More in Update 0.50

PUBG Mobile 0.5.0 PATCH NOTES: Miramap and more comes to iOS and Android smartphones

Twitch now lets you filter PUBG streams by the number of remaining players

While it's been available on the PC version for some time, mobile is just now getting the Miramar map.

PUBG Mobile has seen consistent support from Tencent since its global launch, and its latest update is one of its biggest yet. Dubbed the PUBG 0.5.0 patch, it brings the Miramar map, improved performance, easier options to play with your friends (by using six digit codes to pair up with those near you), and a host of new weapons and vehicles.

A new map is available for PUBG Mobile, the Miramar map that went up for desktop players last month.

PUBG Mobile's gameplay isn't the only thing that got an improvement with this update. After downloading the latest update, players should notice smoother camera work, improved climbing mechanics, and more sound effects. Starting in season 2, progress missions let players complete various challenges to earn rewards, reach new levels, and more. Also, you can choose your region and flag along with a language-specific chat channel, lets you chat in the language of your choice.

Elsewhere, PUBG Mobile also has a shop doing the rounds, which allows players to fork out for cosmetic goodies and something called 'Secret Stash, ' which dishes out various special items on the cheap.

- Initial parachute speed increased to match the PC version.

PUBG Mobile is available now for iOS and Android mobile devices. Final circles on Miramar are often supremely hectic as you might be fighting with other players over one rock, or a single tree.
