Ahead of the launch, the smartphone has been subjected to several leaks and rumours, revealing some of the key specs that the phone may come packed with. It is possible that it will be launched as the Nokia X6, reviving a popular moniker from the days when Nokia was the most successful phone maker.
With the latest mid-range Qualcomm chipset, the Nokia X6 will give some tough competition to the Redmi Note 5 Pro and Zenfone Max Pro M1.
During the past weeks, we've been hearing a lot of data about the Nokia X6, the HMD Global's new phone. This is for the first time that the pricing information of the new Nokia X or Nokia X6 has been leaked. The pricing of the handset was first rumoured to start at CNY 1,600 (roughly Rs. 16,900). The octa-core SND 636 processor is coupled with an Andreno 509 GPU, 3GB/4GB RAM options and up to 64GB of onboard strafe, depending on the variant you choose.
Across the board, you're looking at a sharp, tall 5.8-inch display with FHD+ resolution (2280 x 1080 pixels), dual rear-facing cameras, a single AI-enhanced 16MP selfie shooter, Snapdragon 636 processing power, decent 3060mA battery capacity, and of course, pure, secure and up-to-date Android 8.1 Oreo software.
It was reported by NokiaPowerUser earlier that the Nokia X6 with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 636 processor may be much higher priced at Yuan 1799 in China. The India launch details of the Nokia X6 are yet to be revealed by HMD Global. But now, the Geekbench reveals that the smartphone may have a third variant with 6GB RAM.
