Mitchell left the game in the second half with left foot soreness after colliding with Thunder forward Corey Brewer but returned.

Mitchell exited Game 1 after the Jazz training staff noticed he was limping, but it appears Mitchell has avoided serious injury.

Game 2 is scheduled 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

Mitchell impressed in his first playoff game, recording 27 points on 11-of-22 shooting and 10 rebounds in 35 minutes of action.

"The doctors cleared him, so I put him back in the game, but when I saw him, it looked to me that he was feeling it a little bit and just wanted to make sure, so I took him out and just confirmed it", Snyder said. However, it was clear that he was still a bit shaken up and head coach Quin Snyder chose to pull him from the game once again.

It was his first playoff game with the Thunder since being acquired in a trade with the in in the offseason.

"I'm going to bring it to that level every night", George said.
