As we count down to the long-awaited uber-team-up Avengers: Infinity War (out April 27), EW's Marvel Movie Club is preparing by revisiting the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe in the weeks leading up to the mega-sized movie. Now, with Ant-Man revealed in some Infinity War marketing, our wait for Hawkeye has only become even more intense.
Other cast members returning for this superhero opus include the Winter Solder himself Sebastian Stan, blockbuster trailblazer Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), The Vision (Paul Bettany) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). He's an intense fundamentalist who believes you shouldn't use magic to alter the natural order of things, and watching both the Ancient One and unusual do so has left him disillusioned.
Later in the trailer, Iron Man and Star-Lord are locked in what appears to be a battle with each other.
Avengers: Infinity War has been an incredibly secretive movie, but that has not stopped fans from pouring over every inch of information available.
Marvel has teased Thanos' involvement in the MCU ever since his appearance at the end of 2012's The Avengers. In the comic books, he takes on the name Ronin after the events in Civil War. "Within the first five minutes of Infinity War", Feige began, "people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe".
Pictured chilling out on set in between Chris (dressed in full Star-Lord costume) and his Guardians co-star, Karren Gillan, the 21-year-old star can be seen taking a few moments break in his motion capture suit - something he's previously said he's not had much fun wearing. However, the opposite happened with Scott Derrickson's Doctor Strange, which didn't leave an impression on me for one important reason: The 2016 presidential election. Unusual has even been shown being tortured by Ebony Maw of the Black Order - though it seems that he may manage to hold onto the Time Stone, since Thanos hasn't been seen adding it to his Infinity Gauntlet yet.
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures have debuted two movie TV commercials for Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Nonetheless, it is likely that while Thanos is out collecting all the Infinity Stones in his bid to take over the Galaxy that we are going to see numerous superheroes in conflict with each other before they decide to unite together for the sake of humanity.
