Robert De Niro as Robert Mueller grills Ben Stiller as Trump's lawyer on SNL

The face-off was a twisted take on the film "Meet the Parents" when De Niro's character gets to know his soon-to-be son-in-law, Greg Focker, played by Stiller. At the start of the cold open, he admits to Jeff Sessions (Kate McKinnon) and Mike Pence (Beck Bennett): "I'm Donald Trump's lawyer".

Cohen eventually arrives and gives them the full details on why they ought to be anxious after how much stuff federal agents took from him.

The April 14 edition of "Saturday Night Live" kicked off with a cold open that once again took aim [VIDEO] at the Donald Trump administration. Obviously, Jeff Sessions (the always-funny Kate McKinnon) and Mike Pence (Beck Bennet) are planning for Cohen to be the fall-guy in this Russian Federation investigation, so Stiller was put in the hot seat by De Niro who played a strong-jawed, rough-edged Mueller in a hilarious nod to Meet The Parents. De Niro asks. "Just kidding!"

"I mean you can milk anything with nipples", Stiller's Cohen said. They also called back to the question of whether or not you can milk a cat.

Reports after the raid indicate that Cohen may have routinely made recordings of phone conversations-including of conversations with Stormy Daniels former lawyer. The two then discussed code names given to members of the president's family, including Trump's as "Stormy's little b*tch" and Ivanka Trump's as the president's "girlfriend".

"You listen to me, you little weasel", De Niro as Mueller later told Stiller's character, "I don't know what rights you think you have". His codename for Cohen was "dead man walking".

"I just tried to milk some information out of people", Stiller said.
