Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Rumored to Have 6.4-inch Display with 4000 mAh Battery

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is likely to be launched in the second half of 2018, but rumors around the upcoming device have already started to surface on the internet.

Also, Galaxy Note 9 should be thicker or wider to include a larger capacity battery, so an increase in its size would be offset not only by the larger screen but also by a larger battery. And now, a leak has appeared online revealing almost all the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Galaxy Note 9 is also said to accompany a 6.4-inch Infinity Display, as indicated by a source who shared the data on Twitter.

Apart from that, the leak also suggested that Samsung may pack a larger battery in the Galaxy Note 9 this time.

The Galaxy X may end up being Samsung's first phone with a foldable screen, but according to a new report out of South Korea, another big name in the smartphone industry will launch a handset with a foldable display long before Samsung. From the same, the Galaxy A6 is believed to feature an Exynos 7860 SoC paired with 3GB RAM.

In terms of optics, it has dual rear camera setup with 12 mega pixel primary camera and a secondary 12 mega pixel camera. Regarding the RAM and the storage, the smartphone could be launched with 6GB RAM along with 64GB or 256GB internal storage. The smartphone comes with Andriod Oreo 8.0 out of the box.

Another notable feature that might come with Galaxy Note 9, is an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, Samsung could give the feature a miss if the technology is not perfected in time for mass production. About its security features, it has iris scanner along with a rear-facing fingerprint.

On the connectivity front, the phone supports Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 and WiFi 802.11.

Therefore, Note 9 is expected to boast a battery of 3850 or 4000 mAh, a substantial increase over the 3500 mAh battery offered by Note 8. A previous design render of the Note 9 had also revealed the top and bottom bezels further reduced to nearly being non-existent.
