The device features a 5.7 inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9; this makes the viewing angle for videos and games quite impressive.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 5 received a positive response from Indian customers when they were launched in the country last month.

The list of those phones included Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 3 (Qualcomm SoC), Redmi Note 4 (Qualcomm SoC)/ Redmi Note 4X, Mi Max, and Mi Max Prime. This will be available initially for several of its smartphones in the Redmi, Mi MIX, and Mi Max series, but users of other Xiaomi phones need not worry.

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi announced the roll-out of the MIUI 9.5 Global Stable ROM for some Redmi, Mi smartphones. This update will be rolled out via over-the-air (OTA) method, so watch out for that notification. Since the update is being pushed out in a phased manner, not all devices will be getting it simultaneously.

At the moment, MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM has started rolling out for Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm 650 processor variant, Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm 625 variant/Redmi Note 4X, Redmi 4A, Redmi 5 Plus, Mi Max and Mi Max Prime.

The first batch will receive the MIUI 9.5 Global Stable ROM in late March gradually.

Xiaomi is presenting a tentative time period for the release of MIUI 9.5 for its devices. And, handsets such as the Mi 5s, Mi Note 2, Mi Note 3, Redmi Note 2, Redmi 3, Redmi 4, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi MIX, and Mi 5s Plus will get it by late April. However, the schedule is uncertain and may subject to change. The said update also reportedly added new ringtones, new lock unlock sounds, improved battery and RAM management, a new weather app and also a Mi roaming app to the Redmi Note 4. This time, Xiaomi is officially out with the stable version of their MIUI 9.5 ROM.

It is admirable that Xiaomi is upgrading even its older devices that were released three years back.
