Microsoft's Xbox E3 2018 Conference Has a Time and Date

Xbox promises “biggest showing ever” at E3 2018, briefing set for June 10

Microsoft's diverse new Xbox Live avatars will launch in April

Xbox One is about to introduce a major new feature.

YouTuber Rand al Thor posted an image of Ybarra's new and improved Avatar on Twitter. The new avatars have been shown to include more customizable options that included props, outfits, and even previewed accommodations for amputees, as shown in the reveal trailer above.

This was followed by a new report in The Verge, which claims that the new Avatars will be available to Xbox Insiders this month, followed by a full release in April.

The new Avatars should launch before E3 in June, which Microsoft claims will be its biggest ever. Rather than have its usual presence inside the Los Angeles Convention Center, where E3 takes place, Microsoft is moving the bulk of its efforts across the street to the nearby Microsoft Theater in LA Live.

Additionally, the company will have a new Mixer booth on the show floor at the Los Angeles Convention Center, where fans will be able to play and stream new games throughout the entirety of the show. It's also where Xbox FanFest activities, as well as hands-on gameplay and demos for all E3 attendees, will take place.

Those who have been following the development of the new avatars will remember that the improved feature was revealed a year ago during E3 with Microsoft saying that the enhanced avatar creation system would be available by the end of 2017 for some users.

Microsoft's Xbox E3 briefing is set for June 10, 2018, at 1 pm PT/4 PM ET.

With E3 2018 being just several months away, fans of Microsoft are undoubtedly gearing up for the American multinational technology company's forthcoming press conference at this year's event, with many hoping the firm offers a blockbuster showcase.
