Jeff Goldblum to reprise Jurassic Park role in franchise's new video game

It gets ten Goldblums out of a possible ten Goldblums.

Although Goldblum doesn't completely let on as to how his reprisal of the Dr. Ian Malcolm role will fit into Jurassic World Evolution, Frontier Development's description of the video states that the character "guides" players throughout the game.

If you needed a reason to pick up Jurassic World Evolution other than rampaging dinosaurs, here it is folks.

Goldblum will be reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the title, and will apparently 'be with you the whole game.' Apparently, he'll be serving to guide you through some hard moral choices and tactical decisions.

If the notion of a new Jurassic Park simulation game from the makers of Planet Coaster weren't enough to win you over, developer Frontier Developments has now upped the ante.

"I highly recommend it", he says with peak Goldblum inflection.

Jurassic World Evolution doesn't have a confirmed release date just yet, but it is planned for launch sometime this summer for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

It's been four years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment.

Jeff Goldblum first appeared as Dr. Ian Malcolm in 1993's Jurassic Park and will reprise his role as the iconic character when Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom arrives in theaters in June 2018. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who's still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission.

Announced during the Microsoft E3 2017 conference, Jurassic World Evolution tasks players with operating Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands.
