However, it's certainly clear that without a price increase in Prime subscriptions or getting Amazon Prime, Free Games with Prime is an extra benefit to what is already being offered to Twitch viewers.
Just recently, fans were presented with a list of games to vote on as part of the Twitch Prime Indie Amplifier promotion, with the victor being released for free through Twitch Prime this week. Born out of their Indie Amplifier program, those with a Twitch Prime will be able to receive five games for your PC gaming libraries that will be yours to keep forever. Next month, Free Games with Prime will offer Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, Kingsway, Tokyo 42 and Dubwars.
Twitch Prime debuted in September 2016, and is actually a part of Amazon Prime, which goes for $13 per month or $99 per year. Twitch revealed the new program in conjunction with promoting winners from its Indie Amplifier contest, giving devs a platform for their titles.
Twitch has routinely given away free games and in-game content to Twitch Prime subscribers in the past. The service also features ad-free streams, exclusive chat emotes, and free in-game cosmetics and loot.
